Detailed Track Information
straight 6X100 is po18's update to the original straight track, an Easy speedrun that is simply a very long thin road running diagonally across the map. This longer version stretches the line even further, with a few small details along the way, so there is almost no steering and the challenge is staying on the road at very high speed. It makes a good speed test, and the hand-drawn start and finish labels on the cover show you the direction.
Why This Track Is Worth Trying
straight 6X100 is a easy speedrun track from po18. It is best approached as a test of quick restarts, repeatable lines, and removing small hesitations from each section.
First Run Plan
run the track several times at 80 percent speed, then start optimizing the first checkpoint split
Main Risk
Watch for blind turns and unnecessary steering corrections, since tiny delays matter more on speedrun maps.
Difficulty Note
This should be approachable for newer players, but a careful first lap still helps you learn the layout.
Aim for a clean finish before optimizing time. This code uses the newer PolyTrack import format and can also be tested in Review Racer when available.
