A straight forward oval with 4 laps, and has some pretty skillful turns after straightaways. This is based off of Indianapolis Motor Speedway, a real life track I hold dear to my heart.
Detailed Track Information
IMS is a four-lap oval speedrun inspired by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Long straightaways build serious speed before a series of skillful braking zones and tight turns, so lap time comes from carrying momentum and hitting clean lines. Twelve checkpoints keep the 1,600-meter lap fair, and a tidy run takes about three minutes.
