Unofficial PolyTrack: Copies, Mods & the Original Game

By PolyTrackCodes Team · Independent fan reference

Understand unofficial PolyTrack pages, modified copies, official sources, and what to check before using a different game host.

What does unofficial PolyTrack mean?

An unofficial page is operated independently of Kodub, the developer of PolyTrack. It may host a copy, modify the game, or simply publish fan guides and track codes. These are different activities: a fan guide does not necessarily host or modify the game. PolyTrackCodes is an independent track-code library.

Reference: PolyTrack by Kodub.

Does unofficial mean a new edition?

No. The label alone tells you nothing about the game version, features, or permission to distribute it. Compare the version shown in the game with the developer’s release notes. A familiar logo or a similar address is not proof of an official connection.

Copies, mods, and track codes are different

A mirror hosts another copy of the game. A mod changes some part of its behavior. A track code describes a community map imported through the game editor. Importing a track does not require installing a modified game, extension, or launcher.

What should I check?

Start from the developer’s page and follow its platform links. On another host, check the operator, stated version, download prompts, and explanation of changes. Leave if a page forces unrelated downloads or asks for credentials to reveal a public track code. A recognizable hosting service does not verify every page hosted there.

Will my progress move between sites?

Do not assume it will. Different hosts may store browser data separately, and different versions may handle features differently. Keep exported track codes before changing hosts or clearing site data. Follow school and workplace network rules when choosing where to play.

Editorial scope and corrections

These pages explain source selection and how to compare information. We do not certify third-party hosts, claim an official teaching partnership, or verify current world-record holders. Suggested classroom activities are examples. Check release notes and leaderboard rules for changing facts.
